Gingerbread House Decorating Event - Volunteering Opportunity - Candy Donation

December 8, 2018

Description:
Get in the Christmas spirit
and enjoy a long-time tradition by creating your own charming gingerbread house. Exciting for children/adults of any age and a time for families to share their "visions of sugarplums" decorating their gingerbread confection.

It's a popular event!
we are encouraging you to reserve your place as soon as possible. Due to a limited number of gingerbread houses please limit yourself to decorating 1 or 2 per family. Adult supervision is required for children under the age of 11. Plan on spending 45 minutes on your creation.

Volunteer and Candy Donation
We have opportunities to volunteer before the event and/or the morning of the decorating. Sign ups to Volunteer or to Decorate a house begin Sunday, November 5 in Fellowship Hall!

Drop any extra unopened Halloween candy in the large gingerbread house at the Welcome Kiosk anytime after Trick or Treat and before the event on Saturday, December 8.

Last year the event was a huge success because of all the donations of individual bags of M&M's, Skittles, wrapped hard candies, gumdrops, licorice, jelly beans, lollipops, Tootsie Rolls, Smarties, Lifesavers etc.
Time: 10:00a & 11:00a
Cost: $12.50; Limit 2 houses per family. Houses must be paid for in advance. Location: Fellowship Hall; Space is LIMITED!
